Armorize Team
Reflecting a truly international workplace, the Armorize team is composed of global software security talents from Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, India, New Zealand, Sweden, South Africa, Taiwan and the U.S
The Armorize Management Team consists of a group of veterans in innovation from Silicon Valley, and the Hsinchu Science and Industrial Park in Taiwan. Senior management brings more than 20 years of experience in managing early-stage internet and enterprise software companies.
Jim Sha - Chairman of the Board
James C. Sha has been a general partner of Apogee Venture Group, an early stage venture investment and consulting firm, since November 1998. Since 1994 Mr. Sha has held a number of key management roles at Netscape Communications, including the president and CEO of Actra Business Systems, a joint venture between Netscape and GE Information Services. At Actra, Mr. Sha led the pioneering effort of building business-to-business e-commerce application systems. From 1994 to 1996, Mr. Sha was the Senior Vice President for Integrated Application, focusing on the consumer-to-business e-commerce applications. Previously Mr. Sha has held various executive management positions at Oracle Corporation, Wyse Technology and Intel Corporation.
Wayne Huang - Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Wayne Huang is a highly experienced information security expert with extensive knowledge across the realms of network, systems and application security. He is well-known for his expertise in Web application security and has published many journals worldwide on the subject. In addition he is a frequent speaker at global conferences including RSA, OWASP, SyScan, WWW, PHP and DSN. He is the driving force behind the spirit of technical innovation at Armorize.
Wayne is the first author of two award-winning papers in the International World Wide Web (WWW) Conferences (2003, 2004), and co-author of the "Web Application Security - Past, Present, and Future" chapter of the book " Computer Security in the 21st Century" (ISBN 978-0-387-24005-3) (Published by Springer-Verlag, 2005)
Prior to founding Armorize, Wayne was a Senior Consultant at the Taiwan Information Security Center (TWISC) and a Research Engineer at the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Taipei.
Wayne is a PhD candidate at the National Taiwan University Department of Electrical Engineering, and has received his Masters Degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Chiao-Tung University, Taiwan.
Matt Huang - Founder & Chief Operating Officer (COO)
As Co-Founder of Armorize Technologies, Matt guides Armorize Technologies' domestic and international business development. Prior to Armorize, Matt served as a Consultant for McKinsey & Company, advising technology customers in globalization strategies and devising new product roadmaps. He has also been Business Development Manager for Microelectronics Technology, Inc. (MTI), where he made investments in high growth telecom & networking companies. Serving as Special Assistant to the Chairman of MTI, Matt advised on corporate strategies.
Matt holds a M.B.A. degree from Stanford University and B.B.A. from National Taiwan University Department of International Business.
